About this stop
The Berlin Victory Column on the Großer Stern was built by Heinrich Strack between 1864 and 1873 and is intended to commemorate the three wars of unification in the 19th century. The crowning Victoria, popularly known as the Golden Lizzy, adorns the top of the Victory Column and sits majestically in the heart of the Tiergarten. The landmark also offers you the opportunity to climb the 285 steps to the viewing platform, giving you an incomparable view over Berlin.
