About this stop
The Gendarme Market is one of the most beautiful squares in Berlin and, with its breathtaking architecture and rich history, invites you to linger and explore. Surrounded by impressive buildings, it is a cultural center of the city. In summer, concerts are held on the square, and a popular Christmas market takes place during the Advent season. All in all, the Gendarme Market offers a mixture of historical heritage, architectural beauty, cultural offerings and gastronomic delights, making it a worthwhile stop on your Best of Berlin Tour. Due to the construction site at Gendarme Marktet, we have to temporarily relocate our stop to the corner of Markgrafenstraße and Französische Straße.
