About this stop
The former border crossing point Checkpoint Charlie, derived from the international spelling alphabet (Alpha, Bravo, Charlie), was once the most famous border crossing between East and West Berlin during the Cold War. Today it is a fascinating symbol of the division of Germany at the time and an important historical landmark.
