About this stop

The Red Town Hall in Berlin is one of the city's landmarks thanks to its striking architecture. Named after its striking red brick, it has been the city's town hall since its completion in 1869. With its impressive neo-Gothic architecture, it is not only an impressive building, but also the seat of the Berlin Senate and the Governing Mayor. It is also home to a museum that shows the history of Berlin and the development of the city administration.

At the Rotes Rathaus stop, stops 11 and 17 (same stop) overlap: Here you can start the Best of Berlin Tour in an eastward direction, for example to the East Side Gallery, or in a westward direction, for example to the Brandenburg Gate. If you don't have much time, you can shorten your tour here by changing buses.
