Every day, performances by renowned national and international artists take place on the stage of the Berlin State Opera. Numerous musicians, fire acrobats, DJs, acrobats and dancers show off their skills and delight with a sophisticated programme. As every year, the Christmas market continues into New Year's Eve and ends with a grand firework display, which is a fitting end to the year for visitors.

Auch in diesem Jahr wieder ein besonders beliebter Weihnachtmarkt: WeihnachtsZauber am Gendarmenmarkt findet vom 27.11. – 31.12.2023 auf dem Bebelplatz statt. Die Berliner Staatsoper dient als beeindruckende Kulisse für den Berliner WeihnachtsZauber. Neben der traditionellen Spitzengastronomie gibt es zahlreiche Hütten mit traditioneller Handwerkskunst und beheizbare Zelte. Wer in der Winterzeit in Berlin verweilt, der sollte sich den WeihnachtsZauber am Gendarmenmarkt auf gar keinen Fall entgehen lassen.

- Friday and Saturday from 12:00 to 23:00
If you want to reach the Christmas market at Gendarmenmarkt by public transport, simply take the U6 underground line and get off at the "Unter den Linden" stop. Alternatively, you can also take the U5 underground line and get off at the "Museumsinsel" stop. Both stations are in the immediate vicinity of Bebelplatz.
Yes! You can visit the Christmas market on Christmas Eve from 12:00 to 18:00. On New Year's Eve it is open from 12:00 to 1:00.
