What can you expect at the "Christmas on the Spree" Christmas market?

The Christmas market at the Spree, this year for the first time on the Spree, is one of the most famous Christmas markets in Berlin. Festively decorated huts and delicious food create a Christmassy atmosphere. Food, drinks and activities are included in the outdoor area. With a limited number of visitors, you can take a leisurely stroll between the stands and enjoy the wintery Spree. With a view of the Oberbaumbrücke bridge, you can try your hand at curling or tree-trunk nailing. There are also special offers for larger groups. The Christmas market on the Spree impresses with its complete package: all inclusive

Den Weihnachtsmarkt an der Spree kannst du täglich von 17 bis 22 Uhr besuchen. Ausnahme: am 24. und 25. Dezember 2025 ist der Markt geschlossen.

The entry price includes all non-alcoholic drinks, as well as beer, wine and sparkling wine. Of course, mulled wine, punch and hot chocolate are also included. A huge selection of hearty and sweet dishes (also vegan and vegetarian) is included in the price, such as pulled Christmas pork burgers, chilli con carne, pumpkin soup, bratwurst, meat loaf, crêpes, quark balls, roasted almonds and much more. 

The nearest railway station to the Christmas market on the Spree is Warschauer Straße S-Bahn station. However, you can also simply walk across the Oberbaumbrücke from Schlesisches Tor underground station to reach the Christmas market. You will then find the Christmas market on the Spree side next to the Universal building.
