Neptune Fountain
About this stop
The Neptune Fountain is one of the most beautiful fountains in the capital. The four female figures on the edge of the fountain symbolize the rivers Rhine, Elbe, Oder and Vistula. In 1891, it was a gift from the city of Berlin to the reigning Emperor Friedrich Wilhelm II and originally stood at the Berlin City Palace. After severe damage during the Second World War, the fountain was rebuilt in its restored splendor at its new location.
At the Neptune Fountain stop, stops 13 and 8 overlap (same stop)Here you can start the Best of Berlin Tour eastwards, for example to the East Side Gallery, or westwards, for example to the Brandenburg Gate. If you don't have much time, you can shorten your tour here by changing buses.

Attention: Restrictions on the route on 8 September
There will be changes to the route due to an event. The stop 8/13 at Neptunbrunnen will be cancelled from 14:30. Stop 9 at Alexanderplatz/Park Inn will be used as a replacement. Stop 19 at the Siegessäule will be cancelled from 13:30. In addition, stops 16 and 17 will be cancelled from 14:30 to 15:30 and will be bypassed via stop 17a.
